Join Human Rights Foundation’s exciting new in-house publication NK Insider (NKIN) as a Social Media/Content Manager Intern.
We are seeking a qualified, creative individual to assist in managing NKIN’s social media platforms and article publication on the site. You will have rewarding experiences working with our small but growing professional team, as well as with our writers, on incredible stories.

Position Details:
- Start Date: May 20 (flexible)
- Number of Positions: 1
- Location of Intern: South Korea
- Duration: 3 months (may be extended)
- Working Hours: 3 hours/day
- Type: 100% remote
- Daily meal voucher provided
Key responsibilities:
- Manage social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn), including content selection and curation
- Manage article publication on the site (relevant training provided)
- Administrative coordination between the editor and translator
- Writing a news article on a biweekly-basis (2 articles per month)
- Report activities and findings to the director
Requirements:
- Native English speaking or high level of fluency
- Ability to commit to working 15 hours per week
- Demonstrated experience in managing social media platforms
- Ability to produce 2 news articles with excellent quality per month
Preference given to those with:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong research and writing skills
- A demonstrated interest in the Korean peninsula and Asia
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently, as well as closely with a team
